About Us
Love INC Carver County bridges this gap by mobilizing more than 300 volunteers from 30 churches representing 11 denominations, to collaboratively address the community's spiritual, physical, emotional, relational, and material needs. This unified network enables us to effectively identify and address unmet needs within our community, providing essential support to those facing hardship. Through a comprehensive and holistic approach, Love INC connects the resources and calling of local churches with the community's growing and diverse needs, fostering a network of support that is both impactful and sustainable. To date, our volunteers log more than 12,000 hours annually.

History of Love INC Carver County
In 2003, a group of Carver County community leaders—including clergy, business owners, and public servants—sought a more efficient way to serve our community. People in need were going door-to-door asking churches for help. Though clergy and parishioners had a desire to help, this method did not provide access to comprehensive support services, such as housing support, financial assistance, or mental health services. Pastor Joel K. Johnson, Father Bob White and Pastor Greg Snow, former mayor Bob Roepke, Jeff Burzinski, and others visited a Love INC affiliate in Michigan, and were so inspired by the efficient and systematic pooling of compassion and resources, they committed to establishing a local Love INC affiliate.
Love INC Carver County began by solely covering School District 112 in Chaska and fielding about 30 calls for help in 2006. After serving eastern Carver County for nearly 15 years, the neighboring community of Waconia (District 110) wanted to serve their community in the same way. Love INC mobilized churches in Waconia to expand their service area and impact. By 2021, seven more church partners and another school district were added to our coverage area.
